On January 12, WRCO held an online symposium inviting internationally renowned scholars in the field of robotics as expert advisors to contribute to the construction and development of the organization.
Participating experts of the symposium were: Prof. QIAO Hong, President of WRCO, member of Chinese Academy of Sciences; Prof. DAI Jiansheng, member of European Academy of Sciences, member of Royal Academy of Engineering (UK); Prof. SUN Yu, foreign member of Chinese Academy of Engineering, member of Royal Canadian Academy of Sciences, member of Canadian Academy of Engineering; Prof. GAO Huijun, member of European Academy of Sciences; Prof. JIN Yaochu, member of European Academy of Sciences; Prof. SHI Peng, member of European Academy of Sciences; Prof. Kay-Chen Tan from Hong Kong Polytechnic University; Prof. LI Zhijun from Tongji University; Prof. LI Jianqiang from Shenzhen University.
At the beginning, the symposium introduced WRCO's background of establishment, development objectives, current progress and other basic information. Afterwards, the experts engaged in a lively discussion and made many constructive comments and suggestions.
