BEIJING, August 20, 2026 – The "Global Robot Application Exploration Program" was officially launched on the morning of August 20, 2026, at the main forum of the World Robot Conference 2026. Representatives from the program's initiating organizations, robotics companies, and application partners jointly took the stage to formally inaugurate the program.

Launch Ceremony of the Global Robotics Application Exploration Program
The Global Robot Application Exploration Program is an initiative for piloting and exploring new robotics application scenarios all over the world. Jointly proposed by the World Robot Cooperation Organization (WRCO) and the Chinese Institute of Electronics (CIE), in collaboration with global industry organizations, research institutions and enterprises, the program calls for demands of robot application scenarios worldwide. Each year, 1,000 application scenarios will be selected for free robot trials and further development, thus accelerating the adoption and industrial application of robots and promoting product iteration and optimization based on the feedback from these real-world applications, so as to create a virtuous cycle between technological innovation and practical application. By doing so, it aims to build an open, collaborative, innovative, and mutually beneficial global robotics ecosystem.
This program is not only a pioneering exploration of real-world application scenarios, but also a significant innovation in global robotics industry collaboration mechanisms. It will effectively strengthen the linkage between technology R&D and scenario deployment, accelerate the transition of the robotics industry from technical validation to large-scale application implementation, and inject sustained momentum into the development of the global robotics industry innovation ecosystem.
